Wildlife Education to meet several species of live raptors up close and learn about the amazing adaptations that make these birds so special! Raptors — hawks\, owls\, falcons and their kin — have long held our imagination. See what it’s like to be hawk-eyed or falcon-fast by meeting these magnificent predators up close and hearing the stories of our shared history. \n\n\nAll Ages \nFree – RSVP Required \nWhat to Expect and Bring: \n\nDress in long pants thick enough to stand up to thorns and brush (unfortunately leggings aren’t very protective).\nWear closed-toed shoes that can stand up to mud.\nThis event will take place outside\, warm clothing is suggested.\n\nRegistration: \nPlease preregister through Eventbrite so we know to expect you. \nDirections: \nOliver’s Woods is located at 8825 River Road Indianapolis\, Indiana. Please park in the parking lot adjacent to I-465 and meet staff on foot in front of the house. \nMore Information: \nThe program is brought to us by Take Flight! Wildlife Education\, an organization offering traveling educational programs for schools\, nature centers and other organizations interested in wildlife and ecology.
