Fred and Dorothy Meyer Nature Preserve offers a dramatic hike through a large forest block unbroken by roads. Its forest interior habitat shelters rare native species like hooded and worm-eating warblers, Eastern box turtle, and the state-endangered cerulean warbler.

    Fern Station Renamed to Honor Efroymson Family

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE The Central Indiana Land Trust, Inc. (CILTI) has renamed Fern Station, the 570-acre nature preserve west of Greencastle, the Efroymson Preserve at Fern Station in recognition of the Efroymson family’s generous support for protecting Indiana nature.
