Join us at Nonie Werbe Krauss Nature Preserve for a midsummer wildflower walk to enjoy prairie plants in bloom. Bee balm, compass plant, black-eyed susans, coneflower, culver’s root and many more flowering natives attract bees and butterflies to this riverine nature preserve.

There is little shade at this site, so please bring a bottle of water. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you.

Parking: The property is located at the Southwest corner of 116th Street and Eller Road. Public parking is available in the parking lot located behind Riverside Middle School (10910 Eller Road) by the tennis courts. Staff will meet participants there at 9 am.
