Join us for a nature walk at Meltzer Woods in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the National Natural Landmarks (NNL) program.
About this event
Enjoy exploring the old growth forest in a nature walk guided by Phillip Weldy, our stewardship specialist. Meltzer Woods was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1974. This year marks 60 years of the National Parks Service recognizing conservation of America’s natural heritage through the NNL program. Meltzer is one of over 600 designated NNL sites, and one of our best-loved properties. Please join us in celebrating 60 years of the National Natural Landmarks program at this venerable site.
